Immunocompromised

Had a positive flu test in the past 4 weeks

Uses supplemental oxygen (uses oxygen tank)

Allergic to all of the following: oseltamivir, baloxavir, zanamivir

Received FluMist in the past 2 weeks

On hospice or receiving home health services

Taken an antiviral in the past 30 days​

Who is NOT eligible for Strep Throat at the pharmacy?

Pregnant or breastfeeding

Immunocompromised

History of rheumatic fever, rheumatic heart disease, scarlet fever, kidney problems caused by strep.

Symptoms indicating a viral infection: conjunctivitis, runny nose, cough, mouth ulcers, hoarseness

Allergy to all antibiotics used to treat strep: penicillin, amoxicillin, cephalexin, cefadroxil, azithromycin, clindamycin, clarithromycin

Tonsils removed in the last 30 days

Antibiotic use in the last 30 days used to treat sore throat or upper respiratory infection

Severe symptoms: respiratory distress, stiff neck, muffled voice, low blood pressure, altered mental status, etc.
